Plant Care P 250ML

Plant Care P by Dennerle, provides targeted phosphate to your aquarium plants and fertilizes the aquarium with the necessary amounts of phosphate. Plants absorb nutrients very quickly and store them for future use.

Recommended usage:

Plant Care P is used, for example, if tap water contains too little phosphate.

If your aquarium has suffered from severe phosphate deficiency for a long time, the provided phosphate will initially "disappear" into the water. You must then continue to add phosphate regularly so that the plants have the opportunity to replenish their reserves. After 7 to 14 days, the measured phosphate concentration in the aquarium water should gradually increase. If this is the case, you should reduce the dosage, otherwise algae may form. Only add fertilizer again when the phosphate concentration has been zero for a few days.

This form of fertilization is important because algae need phosphate for their growth. While aquatic plants store phosphate very well for use in times of scarcity, algae are much less adept at this. When plants source phosphate from their reserves, algae starve and can no longer grow.

Make sure to use Plant Care P with a micronutrient fertilizer (iron fertilizer)! Dennerle Plant Care Pro provides a complete nutrient supply.

Dennerle also recommends performing weekly 25 to 50% partial water changes to remove waste and inhibitors and prevent any nutritional imbalance.

Dosage recommendation:

2 ml of Plant Care P per 100 liters of aquarium water adds 0.2 mg/L phosphate. For comparison: the optimal phosphate concentration is 0.1 to 0.3 mg/l.

Plant Care P is suitable for both daily and weekly fertilization!
