Charming, peaceful nocturnal South American catfish
Tatia galaxy is a rare tropical freshwater catfish from the Amazon basin. It owes its name to its beautiful white spots on a black background, reminiscent of a galaxy.
Behavior & care
A nocturnal, peaceful species that should be kept in a small group in a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding places. A quiet external filter and dim lighting are recommended.
Feeding
Carnivore: worms, larvae, shrimp and sinking pellets. See our range of foods for bottom-dwelling fish.
