ShrimpKing Active Soil has been specially developed for shrimp farming. It is particularly suitable for species that like soft, slightly acidic water, such as bee shrimp, Crystal Red, Red Bee, tiger shrimp or the popular Shadow Shrimp.

It modifies the water in a targeted way to obtain a fresh water close to the natural environment of these species.

As a natural ion exchanger, it lowers the pH and stabilises it in the slightly acidic range (approx. pH 6.0-6.5).

At the same time, it reduces the carbonate hardness - depending on the quality of the original water - to approx. 0-2 °f KH - and thus makes the water significantly softer.
