This plant is limited to northern Queensland in the regions of Thornton Peak, Noah Creek, and Roaring Meg Falls, where it is found on stream banks, sometimes forming large mats.

Light: The plant prefers full sun or equivalent grow light, being illuminated for 16 hours a day.

Substrate: A substrate mix dedicated to carnivorous plants is recommended.

Feeding: The plant prefers bed bugs, dried earthworms, and fish food.

Humidity: The optimal humidity for this plant is 65% to 75%. It is recommended to provide mineral and low-salt water, such as rainwater or distilled water.

Temperature: The plant grows best at temperatures of 22 to 32°C.
