Labidochromis hongi "Red Top" is a splendid African cichlid from Lake Malawi. Its blue colouring with an orange-red head makes it one of the most attractive species in the Mbuna biotope. Ideal for fans of rock cichlids.
1. Behaviour & maintenance
Territorial, active and robust. Provide a rock aquarium of at least 200 L. Keep one male for every several females. Endemic to Malawi, accustomed to rocky, oxygen-rich areas.
