Tylomelania sp. patriarchalis comes from the lakes of Sulawesi (Indonesia). These snails are recognised for their distinctive shells and very calm behaviour. They are perfect for tropical freshwater aquariums.
Behavior & care
Solitary and peaceful species. They appreciate warm, alkaline, well-filtered water. Use starter bacteria and monitor your parameters with Aquabota test kits.
Feeding
Omnivorous detritivores, they feed on algae, biofilm and leftover food. Complete their diet with invertebrate pellets.
