The Arcadia Solar Basking Infrared is an infrared heat lamp. The special filament produces infrared heat waves that are invisible to the human eye (IR-A). These rays penetrate deeper into the skin and thus increase the body temperature.
These infrared heat lamps also emit visible red light (1500 Kelvin), which makes nocturnal or twilight animals more visible.
Thanks to its narrow beam (spot - 40 degrees), the lamp can be directed to create a heat spot at a specific location.
The lamps have a standard E27 socket and are therefore easy to install.
