The ARKA Core MF4000 multi-filter is a robust, food-grade plastic multifunctional filter that can be filled with various filtering materials (such as resin/mixed-bed resin, absorbents, activated carbon, and more). The MF4000 is ideal as a downstream resin filter for a reverse osmosis system, but it can also be used in other setups. This is made possible, on the one hand, by the built-in 1" water-inert plastic thread and the 1" to 3/4" reducer, and on the other hand, by the 3/4" to 1/4" connection pieces included in the delivery. The filter is pressure-resistant up to 28 bars and is characterized by a double O-ring ensuring maximum tightness.
A 4000 ml filter cartridge is provided in the 20 x 4.5-inch filter chamber. Fine filters are installed on both sides of the inner filter cartridge, ensuring that suspended matter does not enter the inner filter or parts of the inner filter's filtering material. The inner filter cartridge can be refilled but can also be replaced with similarly sized inner cartridges.
Installation:
Attention!
The multi-filter must be securely fastened to prevent tipping! Therefore, use the included wall bracket!
Do not exceed the maximum pressure resistance of 28 bars!
Purge the filter chamber by pressing the red vent button (on top of the filter cover) and holding it down until water comes out of the chamber.
The manufacturer recommends using the provided filter foams.
If you want to use the provided fittings, make sure the provided O-rings are properly inserted. You can also wrap the thread sides several times with the included Teflon tape.
Before using the ¾'' to ¼'' adapters, take note of the following: Before inserting the hose, remove the blue locking rings and push the receptacle down. Once the hose is connected, you must put back the locking rings.
