Dendrobena (Dendrobaena veneta, syn. Eisenia hortensis) is a robust earthworm widely used as live food thanks to its high protein content and excellent palatability. In size M, worms are thicker than size S; the box contains about 12–15 individuals, ideal for larger animals and predatory species.

• Substrate: keep slightly moist and well ventilated.
• Feeding: very small amounts of vegetables/bran; let them finish before adding more.
