The Poecilia wingei "Blue Panda" is a variety ofEndler particularly appreciated for its silvery and metallic blue hues. A close cousin of the guppy, this small fish from Venezuela is lively, peaceful and ideal for community aquariums.

Active, sociable and peaceful. Should be kept in groups of at least 6 individuals with a ratio of 1 male to 2-3 females. Prefers a densely planted aquarium with calm areas. Will thrive in fresh or slightly brackish water.

Viviparous: females give birth to 10-30 fry every 3 to 4 weeks. Very easy to reproduce, even in a community tank. Floating plants provide natural protection for the young.
