Large-finned "Dumbo" guppy - spectacular blue mosaic tail.
The Dumbo Blue Mosaic Guppy is a selected strain of Poecilia reticulata, characterised by its large ear-shaped pectoral fins ("Dumbo" type) and tail with a blue mosaic pattern. It is an elegant, sociable and easy-to-maintain ornamental fish, ideal for well-planted tropical aquariums.
Behaviour & maintenance
Like all guppies:
- Very sociable and peaceful
- Must be kept with several females to limit stress(ratio 1 ♂ / 2-3 ♀)
- Easy to reproduce: females give birth every 25-30 days
Diet
Omnivorous:
- Flakes or granules for tropical fish
- Supplements: artemia, mud worms, micro worms
- Spirulina, poached vegetables for digestive balance

- GH: 8 - 20 °dGH

Provide a small heater to maintain a stable temperature, and change the water regularly.
