The Endler Tiger Guppy is a variety descended from Poecilia wingei, renowned for its small size and contrasting black stripes reminiscent of a tiger's coat. This micro-guppy is particularly hardy, sociable and prolific, making it ideal for well-planted nano-bacs.

Behaviour & maintenance

Endler Tigers are :

• Gregarious: live in small groups
• Very active: they swim constantly, without being aggressive
• Spontaneous breeders: females give birth to live fry every 3-4 weeks.

A planted tank with refuges is recommended to protect the young fry.

Feeding

Omnivorous:

• Micro-flakes or pellets for small fish
• Supplements: artemia, microvers, daphnia
• Spirulina or poached vegetables to balance the diet

A varied diet promotes rapid growth in young fish and good reproduction.
