Small, peaceful and colourful Australian goby, ideal for planted aquariums
Tateurndina ocellicauda, commonly known as the peacock gudgeon, is a tropical freshwater fish originating from Papua New Guinea. Easy to keep, it is highly appreciated for its beautiful blue and orange colours.
A peaceful species that becomes territorial during breeding. It should be kept as a pair or in a small group in a tank of at least 60 L, well planted and provided with hiding places. A gentle internal filter is sufficient.
Micro-carnivore: Artemia, bloodworms, nauplii, micro-pellets. Complete the diet with our foods for tropical fish.
Use a fine substrate, plenty of natural plants and caves or tubes to encourage breeding.
