Dwarf African cichlid - peaceful, colourful and easy to keep
Pseudocrenilabrus multicolor is a small African cichlid native to the Nile basin. Its bright colours and peaceful demeanour make it a real eye-catcher. An excellent choice for aquarists wanting to discover calm African cichlids.
Territorial during breeding season, otherwise peaceful. To be kept in pairs or harem in a 100 L aquarium with plants and hiding places. Can tolerate slightly alkaline water.

Maternal oral incubator: the female keeps the eggs in her mouth until they hatch (~10 days). The fry are self-sufficient as soon as they are released.
With calm African fish: dwarf bearded bass, Synodontis, small loaches. Avoid aggressive cichlids (Malawi, Tanganyika).
Transport in suitable isothermal packaging, with temperature monitoring. Fast, secure transport.
