Behaviour & maintenance

A calm, gregarious species native to Central America/farmed, it thrives in a stable, well-filtered and oxygenated aquarium. Allow for a volume of at least40 L (group). Use starter bacteria and regularly check your parameters with water tests.

Feeding

Omnivorous, this species accepts flakes, granules and natural foods. Vary the diet with our specially formulated foods to support colour and vitality. In the case of dense planting, consider using aquarium fertilisers.
