Golden variant of the famous “poor man’s neon”, peaceful and bright

Tanichthys albonubes Gold is the golden form of the so-called “poor man’s neon”. It keeps the hardiness and social behaviour of the original species, while adding a vivid golden shine to your community aquarium.

Behavior & care

Like the classic form, it is a schooling fish and should be kept in groups of 8–10 individuals in a tank of at least 60 L. Cool, well-filtered water (internal filter) is essential.

Feeding

Omnivore: accepts dry, live and frozen foods. Vary the diet with our foods for tropical fish.
