Small, robust and peaceful temperate water fish, ideal for beginners
Tanichthys albonubes, also known as the poor man's neon, is afreshwater fish native to China and Vietnam. Hardy and lively, it is ideally suited to temperate community aquariums.
Behaviour & maintenance
A gregarious, peaceful species that should be kept in shoals of 8 to 10 individuals. It prefers cool, well-oxygenated water. Install an internal filter and a good aeration system.
Diet
Omnivorous: accepts flakes, microgranules, daphnia and artemia. Supplement with our food for small fish.
