Peaceful, lively fish with magnificent red and gold highlights

The Nannostomus beckfordi "Red" is a selected strain of the famous Beckford pencilfish, with more intense red hues. Highly appreciated for its elegance and ease of adaptation, it fits perfectly into calm, well-planted community aquariums.

1. Behaviour & maintenance

A calm, gregarious and lively species, to be kept in groups of 8 to 10 individuals. Prefers soft, slightly acidic water and a densely planted tank with shaded areas. Ideal for blackwater aquariums or quiet community tanks.
